YOUTH MINISTRY St. John Paul II said “Future begins today, not tomorrow.” Youth Ministry is such an important part of any church community because young people are not only the church of tomorrow, but they are the church of today. Our church needs young men and women to answer to Christ’s call of holiness. Youth Ministry offers a variety of activities and events geared toward getting young adults involved in our parish community. We meet once a month for informal conversation, and of course, PIZZA!!! We sponsor various community service programs throughout the year such as or Heart Run & Walk Team, our Thanksgiving Food Drive. our Wishing Tree Project for Thea Bowman House, our Winter Clothing Drive, etc. We also sponsor a Fall Kick Off, Youth Masses, Christmas Party, Winter Social, and Summer Outing! We also plan events free of charge for the children ages up to 12 of our Parish Community, such as the annual Easter Egg which draws nearly 150 kids with their families, Breakfast with the Easter Bunny, A Halloween Part, Breakfast with Santa, etc. We also offer Children’s Liturgy of the Word on the first Sunday of every Month, September though June at 10:30am So come become a part of something more, and join the Youth Group today!
